Before any heads are measured, the owner must have a current membership or must purchase next year's membership.

ALL ENTRIES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THEIR:

  • CERTIFICATE NUMBER
  • MEMBERSHIP NUMBER or
  • OWNER'S NAME, ADDRESS, DATE AND AREA KILLED

For the 2017 Fishing Season, all sportsmen must be a member before June 1st, 2018.

  • Youths under 16 years of age do not need a membership to enter Fish Competitions.

For the 2017 Big Game & Bird Competition, all sportsmen must be a member before September 1st, 2018.

  • All entries for competition in FISH, BIRD and BIG GAME must be taken by Alberta residents only and within the boundaries of the province of Alberta.
  • All entries must have been taken in accordance with Alberta Game Laws under the authority of a valid sport hunting or fishing licence.
  • All SHEEP entries must be accompanied by a Fish & Wildlife registration form.
  • All heads must remain until all awards have been presented.
  • All sportsmen must be in good standing of the Club prior to judging of heads or to compete in events 3 & 4, prior to September 1 or before the game season opens, to enter in all other events.
  • All entries mounted or partially mounted must have been shown to an official or a written statement of a taxidermist or wildlife officer showing the animal was legally killed.

For Boone & Crockett Entry: Any big game entry of 60 days drying period making the Boone & Crockett minimum may be re-measured and recorded for entry to the Boone & Crockett competitions by request of the owner. The same applies for Pope & Young (bow & arrow).

All entries will be handled carefully and every effort will be made to take care of them up to the time the award presentations have been completed. Other than this, the Club assumes no responsibility for the care of the entries.
